Kitalie was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in science at CSUF and a multiple subject teaching credential at CSULA. After settling into her career as a middle school science teacher, she returned to school to pursue an MFA ~ Illustration at Academy Art University of San Francisco.
